One of the most remarkable, and important, pieces of computer history is the Apollo Guidance Computer, the purpose-built embedded system that was used on the Apollo moon missions. The AGC wasn't very powerful by today's standards, but it was a feat of computer architecture for the time, and notable for its resilience and recovery capabilities.
I've always been fascinated by the AGC, and I finally decided that I need to build one. Read my blog about that build.
I'm designing the case in Fusion 360, as close to real as I can figure out (dimensions are hard to come by), and Eagle for the electronics.
